Search Kira AI and two products answer. The one winning consumer traffic in 2026 is kiraai.ai: a voice-first assistant and workspace that wants to draft email, sit in your calendar, remember context and take actions across connected apps. The older name in legal tech is Kira Systems, a contract-review platform that Litera later absorbed. If you are a marketer, you almost certainly mean the first. If you are a lawyer, confirm the URL before you buy.
What kiraai.ai says it does
Kira's own site describes a single brain across chats, docs, calls and projects. Specialist agents handle writing, data, design and logic. A memory graph is supposed to keep people, preferences and open threads so you do not re-explain the brief every morning. Voice commands are a headline feature: talk while you walk, get a calendar hold, a draft, a reminder. It lists connectors such as Slack, Google Drive, Notion, WhatsApp, Gmail and Calendar. Treat that list as marketing until you have tested the ones you actually use.
The important product claim is not "it chats." It is that consequential actions wait for your approval. Draft the email, do not send it. Propose the meeting, do not book it until you say yes. If that loop is real in your account, Kira is an operator. If the loop is just more chat with extra buttons, it is another inbox.
Pricing, in plain numbers
Kira's public pricing in 2026 lists a free tier with a large token allowance, Individual at $28 a month (about $25 a month billed yearly), and Business at $46 per seat per month (about $40 a seat billed yearly). The company says it does not train on your content unless you opt in, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and lists GDPR alignment. SOC 2 Type II was described as in progress on its compliance page in mid-2026. If you are putting customer data through it, ask for the current report, not a blog paraphrase.
Kira Systems, the legal one
Kira Systems built machine learning for due diligence: find the change-of-control clause, the assignment language, the weird indemnity. That product lived in law firms and later under Litera. It is not a consumer assistant. It will not write your LinkedIn posts. If a partner mentions Kira and talks about NDAs, they mean this lineage, not kiraai.ai.
When Kira is the wrong tool for marketing
- You need on-brand copy, images and video for the same campaign, not a second brain for your calendar.
- You need a shared brand voice that an intern can use, not a personal memory graph tied to one login.
- You need publishing and workflows, not only drafts that wait in an assistant tab.
Personal operators and marketing production stacks solve different messes. Kira wants to be you. Content24 wants the work to ship: AI Writer, AI Images, AI Video, AI Chat and AI Workflows around one Brand Kit. If your bottleneck is "I cannot keep my week together," try an operator. If your bottleneck is "the campaign is still in five tabs," you need a production workspace. See AI workspace for marketing teams.
Frequently asked questions
Is Kira AI free?
There is a free plan with a token cap. Heavy daily use, extra seats and team memory sit on Individual and Business. Check kiraai.ai/platform/pricing because allowances change.
Does Kira AI replace ChatGPT?
Only if what you wanted from ChatGPT was a secretary: mail, calendar, reminders, a voice you talk to in the car. It does not replace a suite that has to generate campaign assets in a brand voice.
Is Kira AI the same as Kira Systems?
No. Same first name, different companies, different buyers. Always match the domain to the job.
The short version
Kira AI in today's search results is usually a personal operator with agents and memory. The legal-tech Kira is a different product. Marketing teams that need to publish, not just schedule themselves, still need a content workspace. Try Content24 free.
